Scotland will face Samoa at the BT Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh on Saturday 11th November. This will be the first of three autumn internationals to be played by Scotland in 2017. It will also be Gregor Townsend's first home game as Scotland's new head coach.

Scotland last played the South Sea Islanders in a Pool B match at Rugby World Cup 2015. That match ended in a narrow 36-33 win for the Scots.

Scotland and Samoa have contested a total of 10 rugby test matches since their first meeting in 1991. Scotland have won eight of those matches, whilst Samoa have only won once. There has also been one draw between the two sides.

Tickets for the Scotland v Samoa autumn international match went on general sale on Monday 3rd July, priced from £15 (Bronze) to £25 (Platinum) plus booking fees. Tickets are being sold via the Scottish Rugby Online Ticket Centre (powered by Ticketmaster). Tickets may also be available from Scottish Rugby's Secondary Ticketing Partner (Viagogo) but prices may be higher than face value.
