Wales v Scotland

Date:

Venue: Principality Stadium, Cardiff

Kick Off: TBC

Wales will face Six Nations rivals Scotland in the opening fixture of the Under Armour Series at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff on Saturday 3rd November. The two teams will compete for the newly created 'Doddie Weir Cup', in support of the former Scotland and British & Irish Lions player who has been diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease.

This will be the first time that Scotland contest an away match as part of an autumn series. The fixture will offer both teams a stern test ahead of the remaining three matches in their respective autumn series, which are likely to feature the more traditional southern hemisphere opponents.

Wales and Scotland have contested a total of 123 rugby test matches since their first meeting in 1883. Wales have won 71 of those matches, whilst Scotland have won 49. There have been three drawn matches between the two nations.
