Autumn Internationals 2021
Following a break due to Covid, the giants of southern hemisphere rugby were back touring Europe during the autumn of 2021. For the first time in over 18 months, capacity crowds enjoyed watching Test match rugby played at stadiums across Europe.
Highlights of the 2021 autumn internationals included:
- Scotland claiming a third successive victory over Australia in Edinburgh.
- Ireland claiming a third-ever victory over New Zealand in Dublin.
- England beating their world cup conquerors South Africa by a single point at Twickenham.
- France ending a 14-match losing streak against New Zealand with a memorable win in Paris.
