Following their success at Rugby World Cup, Japan look set to play Test matches against both Ireland and Scotland during the 2020 Autumn Internationals.

The Brave Blossoms famously won their pool matches against both celtic nations en-route to their first World Cup quarter-final appearance.

The challenge now for Japan will be to replicate that level of performance next year when they face a daunting Test schedule, which includes England, Scotland and Ireland.

As well as the aforementioned autumn fixtures, Japan will face World Cup finalists England in a two-Test summer series in July.

The Japan Rugby Football Union have announced the following Test fixtures for 2020:

Japan v England - Saturday 4th July 2020

Japan v England - Saturday 11th July 2020

Scotland v Japan - Saturday 14th November 2020

Ireland v Japan - Saturday 21st November 2020

The venues and kick-off times have not yet been confirmed.
