Italy beat Georgia 28-17 in Florence

Tommaso Allan starred with 13 points as Italy came from behind to beat Georgia 28-17 in Florence.

The hosts were down after Tamaz Mchedlidze scored in the 16th minute, but responded strongly, running in four tries in the win, just their second of the year.

Allan nailed a penalty, before Michele Campagnaro, Mattia Bellini, Simone Ferrari and Allan touched down either side of half-time, and a further two points from Allan put them 28-12 up.

The visitors were awarded a penalty try with just under 20 minutes to go but were unable to build on that as they ended 11 short.
