Centre Garry Ringrose is likely to miss Ireland’s Nations Championship fixtures at home to Argentina, Fiji and South Africa.

The Irish Rugby Football Union has announced the 31-year-old will continue his recovery from a hamstring injury with his club Leinster.

Andy Farrell’s squad has assembled in Dublin ahead of beginning their autumn campaign against the Pumas on Friday, November 6 at the Aviva Stadium.

Fly-half Sam Prendergast will continue his rehabilitation from a wrist injury in camp. Versatile back Jimmy O’Brien sustained a concussion at the weekend and will follow a graduated return-to-play programme, with the aim of resuming full training later this week.

No replacements are scheduled to be called up by head coach Farrell.

Ireland beat Australia and Japan in the Southern Hemisphere Series of the competition in July before losing to New Zealand.

Following the opener against Argentina, Ireland host Fiji on Saturday, November 14 before facing the Springboks on Saturday, November 21.
