Ireland rescued their 150th anniversary celebrations as they came from behind to beat the Wallabies 22-19 in their final autumn international of the year. An entertaining first half saw both teams score a try. Max Jorgenson was first to cross for the Wallabies, while Josh van der Flier replied a few minutes later for Ireland. Two penalty kicks from Noah Lolesio put the visitors into a deserved 13-5 lead at the break. Sam Prendergast kicked a penalty early in the second half to close the gap. Ireland then took the lead for the first time when Caelan Doris scored a try and Prendergast converted. But two further Lolesio penalties saw the Wallabies retake the lead. Gus McCarthy got the all-important next score when he went over from a rolling maul in the 73rd minute to put Ireland back in front. The home side held firm in the final minutes of the match to secure victory and kick start Irish Rugby's 150th birthday party. A selection of match reports is listed below:
