Wales beat a below-par South Africa 27-13 at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff to end the 2016 Under Armour Series with three wins from four matches. The first-half was dominated by penalty kicks as Wales scored four and South Africa two. Tries did eventually come in the second-half with Ken Owens going over for Wales, before Uzair Cassiem replied for South Africa. With only a score separating the teams going into the final 10 minutes, man-of-the-match Justin Tipuric swerved his way over for a try in the 76th minute to give Wales the win.
